Description

BoneFinder is an automated software tool designed to outline and segment skeletal structures from 2D radiographs by placing points along bone contours or key landmarks. Initially developed for hip joint segmentation, it now extends to other skeletal structures like hand and knee joints, utilizing a machine-learning approach trained on numerous examples to accurately identify and segment bones in new images. The precise point placements provided by BoneFinder enable various shape analyses, including statistical shape modeling and automatic geometric measurements.
