Cervical Spondylotic Myelopathy

Cervical Spondylotic Myelopathy

Description

Convolutional neural network (CNN) to evaluate cervical spondylotic myelopathy (CSM) using lateral cervical spine radiographs and determine whether the patient has CSM and if the patient needs further imaging, such as MRI. Model detected CSM with an accuracy of 87.1%. Researchers concluded that the model can be useful in diagnosing CSM using just one radiograph.
