This study aimed to improve the detection of isolated coarctation of the aorta (CoA) using artificial intelligence (AI) during the 18-22-week fetal anomaly scan. An AI model that performed automated cardiac biometric measurements achieved a high predictive accuracy with an area under the ROC curve of 0.96, sensitivity of 90.4%, and specificity of 88.9%. The AI-enhanced approach identified significant differences in cardiac measurements between fetuses with postnatal CoA and healthy controls, potentially improving prenatal screening and early detection of CoA.
