cmAssist is an AI-based computer-aided detection tool designed to enhance radiologists’ sensitivity in breast cancer screening by improving accuracy and detection rates. In a study using a cancer-enriched dataset, radiologists showed a significant increase in cancer detection rates after using cmAssist, with minimal impact on false-positive recalls. The tool demonstrated a substantial improvement in identifying cancers that were initially missed in mammograms, supporting its effectiveness in breast cancer screening.
