The current methods for regional wall motion abnormality (RWMA) are prone to interobserver variability, despite being foundational to transthoracic echocardiography. The deep learning model outperformed both groups of novices for the detection of any RWMA. Deep learning may improve the efficiency of RWMA assessment and serve as a teaching tool for novices.
