Pediatric Fracture Detection

This study will assess whether a commercially available AI tool (BoneView) improves healthcare professionals’ ability to detect fractures in pediatric radiographs. Using a dataset of 500 images, participants from radiology, orthopedics, and emergency medicine will first diagnose fractures without AI, then repeat the task with AI assistance. Results will measure changes in diagnostic accuracy and potential impacts on patient management, with findings disseminated through various academic and public platforms.
