Prediction of Axillary Lymph Node Status​

The study aimed to assess the ability of a convolutional neural network (CNN) to predict axillary lymph node metastasis using primary breast cancer ultrasound images. The CNN demonstrated feasibility in predicting metastasis, which could enhance nodal staging and patient management in breast cancer. This approach has the potential to improve the accuracy of staging and treatment planning for patients with breast cancer.
